David Beckham has thanked his wife Victoria for an "amazing" birthday.

The retired footballer celebrated his 40th birthday with an extravagant party at a six-star resort just outside Marrakech in Morocco, and gushed on his Instagram account about his "beautiful" spouse.
He wrote: "Thanks to my beautiful wife for such an amazing day x (sic)."
David - who has already amassed almost 3 million followers on Instagram since he launched his account this morning (02.05.15) - also invited a host of celebrity friends to join him for the £250,000 milestone bash, with television chef Gordon Ramsay and 'The Incredible Hulk' actress Liv Tyler in attendance.
Other famous faces who joined the couple and their four children, Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10 and Harper, three, reportedly included Victoria's former Spice Girls bandmates Emma Bunton and Mel C, and 'Desperate Housewives' actress Eva Longoria.
Throughout the day, members of the family updated fans with details of the party on social media, while David even took a break to congratulate Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their daughter, with whom he now shares a birthday.
He wrote on Facebook: "Incredible news. I couldn't be happier for William and Kate. Happy to hear that mother and daughter are fine. It's not a bad day to be born."
