David has been in touch with her regularly and is concerned with how Jenson, Lynne's second child with partner Kevin Briggs is doing since he has severe breathing difficulties and is "fighting for his life".
In a seperate report dad Kevin told The Sun newspaper: "When he was born he was fighting for life. We're all very worried but the doctors have been brilliant. David's been in constant contact."
The tiny tot who was born at Queen's Hospital in Essex, north-east of London, is due to be moved to Great Ormond Street Hospital today for surgery to find out what is affecting his airway.
He has stridor which is a symptom of an underlying issue that leaves the child with turbulent air flow in the upper airway and causes high-pitched noises.
The whole family has pulled together during this difficult time and David's mother, Sandra, has been with Lynne and Kevin as they wait to hear more about the baby's condition.
