Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he has banned himself from wearing glasses to 'put some distance' between himself and the character of Harry Potter.
Radcliffe shot to fame as Potter - who be played for ten years - and is now trying to move away from the character as the film franchise has come to a close.
And Radcliffe is starting with his appearance, and is moving away from wearing glasses.
Speaking to MTV, the actor said: "It's gonna be contacts or like triangular glasses or something just to really put some distance."
Since leaving Harry Potter behind, Radcliffe has taken on a range of roles and movies, starring in The Woman In Black, Kill Your Darlings, and most recently Horns.
And while these may be very different roles for the actors, his current work is still compared to his Potter.
He continued: "There is no one film that fully separates me, in the eyes of everyone else, from Harry Potter - that isn't going to happen.
"It's about building up as diverse and interesting a body of work as I can."
He added: "I'm looking forward to the day where I can release a film and it not be talked about in [relation to 'Harry Potter']."
Radcliffe returned to the big screen last week with Horns, an adaptation of the Joe Hill novel, which saw him team up with Juno Temple and director Alexandre Aja.
Radcliffe has already completed work on Frankenstein - in which he plays Igor alongside James McAvoy - and Trainwreck.
