Daisy Lowe can never go out with a man "in the public eye" again.

The 26-year-old model has insisted she wants to date someone who has "nothing to do" with the celebrity lifestyle, as she's found it too "complicated" in the past, having dated producer Mark Ronson, former 'Doctor Who' actor Matt Smith and One Direction's Harry Styles.

Daisy said: "I decided last year that I couldn't go out with any more boys in the public eye - I can't do it, because it's so complicated. There are so many insecurities that come along with it and there's also the competition. It's such a weird world."

The fashionista - who is also daughter to Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale - went on to reveal she did date a regular guy recently, but it didn't work out as he didn't "understand" her lifestyle.

Speaking to InStyle magazine, Daisy said: "It was the idea of wanting someone who was grounded, but actually I dated someone that had nothing to do with (the celebrity life), who was just ... not terrified by it but couldn't understand it and only wanted to spend time with me away from it all. And actually I need someone to understand it all as well."

While she wants a 'normal' man, Daisy claims no guys approach her when she's out because she believes they are "intimidated" by her fame.

She said: "They're more intimidated by me. Even though I'm all about being a very independent woman and I believe in equality, I'm also very old-fashioned, so I would never make the first move with anyone."
