The 21-year-old reality star admitted one of the reasons why she and Krista Keller were estranged for almost a year was because her mom developed inappropriate feelings for her spouse, 55-year-old Doug Hutchison.
Courtney said: "My mom attempted to craft really inappropriate boundaries that a mother should never cross in her daughter's life and her relationships.
"She really started to fall inappropriately for my husband."
The blonde beauty accused her mother of falling for Doug because of her insecurities within her own relationship.
She explained to RadarOnline.com: "My mom wasn't happy, she wasn't having a great relationship with my father.
"She was living through me for a while. She said, 'What my daughter feels I feel!'"
Fortunately for Courtney, her mother's feelings weren't reciprocated and she and Doug are looking forward to their upcoming wedding anniversary.
Asked if Doug returned Krista's feelings, she joked: "Unfortunately not. He didn't!
"My relationship with Doug is really, really good. We're getting ready to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary in May and we're going to renew our vows."
Courtney and her mom turned to TV show 'The Mother/Daughter Experiment' in a bid to repair their damaged relationship.
She said: "We hadn't seen each other, we hadn't talked to each other, so we felt like it would be a great experience.
"She was my manager for a while and they always say don't mix business with family. That had a huge role in it."
