The 36-year-old actress - who is known for starring as Kerry Mucklowe in the BBC Three series 'This Country' had been taking part in the ITV competition which sees celebrities conceal their identities in extravagant costumes and sing their way to success but had to leave the show on Saturday (04.02.23) after finding the judges opted to send Fawn through to the semi-final next week.

Following her elimination, she said: " Oh my God! Why did I put so much energy into that? Then I had to keep it up! Why couldn't I have been a sloth or something? I've loved it, I mean I'm exhausted,

The BAFTA Award-winning star went on to add that she decided to take part for her four-year-old daughter Pip before quipping that she also "needed the cash."

She told host Joel Dommett: "I'm absolutely relieved but I've loved every second. I did this for my daughter Pip who is a massive fan of the show, and I needed the cash!"

Daisy's exit came just minutes after Steps star Claire Richards had been voted off the show as part of a double elimination but whilst two of the judges had correctly guessed the identity of the 'Tragedy' hitmaker, only Mo Gilligan had sussed out Daisy.

'You Only Love Me' singer Rita Ora thought it was 'My Family' actress Zoe Wanamaker and Stephen Mulhern believed it was original Queen of Clean Kim Woodburn, whilst Jonathan Ross remained convinced it was former 'Bake Off' host Mel Giedroyc and Davina McCall claimed it was 'Harry Potter' actress Fiona Shaw.

Just before leaving the stage for the final time, Daisy performed an unmasked rendition Omi hit 'Cheerleader' through fits of laughter in a comedic American accent.
