The 35-year-old actor starred as Chad Danforth in the Disney trilogy alongside Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens while 'Modern Family' star Sarah, 33, unsuccessfully auditioned for a role in the third installment of the franchise in 2008 and she recalled that the pair of them singing songs relentlessly at their accommodation.

She told People: "That's how I spent my senior year spring break. “I wasn't like, you know, like trying to like go to Florida and get wild or anything like that.

"But like, my theatre kid [thing] is just to be with other theatre kids in Salt Lake City and like just sing songs. We would literally just sing songs for each other."

Corbin added: "Again, it was a ton of teenagers in the same hotel and running through the hallways..."

Sarah added: "Literally run through the hallways. We profusely apologized to the people who were staying there on their own time that were not a part of 'High School Musical 3'.

Both stars have appeared in the off-Broadway production of the cult musical 'Little Shop of Horrors' and Corbin recalled having loved the show since childhood.

He said: "I have been a fan of the musical since I was a child. I mean, it definitely shaped a lot of my love for musical theatre. The earworms in the show, it's such an economical show. It doesn't have any lulls or any dull moments. Of course, Alan Menken and Howard Ashman are just pure geniuses.

"To me, it's just a brilliant mixing of the comedy and sheer horror that we love to watch.
