Coleen Nolan was stunned when a group of teenage female fans told her what they'd "like to do" to her music star sons.
The singer-turned-TV presenter - who shot to fame in girl group The Nolans in the 1970s - couldn't believe what she was hearing when a group of girls told her how they would act with her sons, Shane Jr., 27, and Jake Roche, 23, if they got the chance.
But 50-year-old Coleen got an even bigger shock when she discovered the fans were only 13 and 14 years old - so she immediately warned Shane, who is frontman for the Shane Richie Jr Band, and Rixton lead singer Jake, to steer clear of the enthusiastic supporters.
She said: "I was at a gig last year and it was Shane and his band, and Jake had gone to see him with his band.
"There was a table of girls and they called me over and I was chatting away to them, they were telling me, 'Oh I love your sons and I'd love to do this' ... literally telling me what they'd like to do.
"At the last minute I said, 'Oh really, and how old are you all?' They were 13 and 14. Had I not gone over and found that information ... they looked at least 17, all of them.
"I actually went up to the boys and said, 'Do not go near that table because they're 13 and 14."
Coleen - who had both boys with her ex-husband, actor Shane Richie - admitted she shudders to think what may have happened had she not warned her sons off the group of youngsters, who looked much older than their years.
Speaking on talk show 'Loose Women', she added: "If I had not been there and those girls had come on ... my boys were both single at the time.
"What I'm saying is then 10/ 20 years down the line they could be done for it."
