Cole Sprouse is looking forward to moving on from 'Riverdale'.
The 29-year-old actor plays Jughead Jones in the TV series but he thinks that most of the cast are ready to "wrap it up with a bow" and move on to other projects.
In an interview with GQ Hype, he said: "I'm not a creative forced behind ('Riverdale'). I actually have no creative control. We show up, receive the scripts often the day of, and we're asked to shoot."
Sprouse shot to fame along with his twin brother Dylan on the Disney Channel series 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody' but confesses that he wanted to avoid the spotlight and only acted to support his family.
He explained: "There's two kinds of kids that start acting in the industry. There's the kids that choose it and there's kids like my brother and I, who had to put food on the table of a single mother."
Cole describes the fame that came with the series as "disgusting" and wanted to spend time out of the public eye once he was financially secure.
The star previously dated his 'Riverdale' colleague Lili Reinhart before the couple split in 2020. The incident left Cole on the receiving end of online hate from heartbroken fans and he now feels unable to share details about his new relationship with Ari Fournier online.
He said: "Followers report everything about Ari and me as bullying, and it gets taken down pretty immediately. Even on my other friends' accounts, it gets taken down."
