Cole Sprouse would "absolutely not" consider a 'Suite Life of Zack & Cody' reboot.
The 28-year-old actor - who rose to fame alongside his twin brother Dylan on the Disney Channel sitcom - has weighed in on the recently announced 'Sex and the City' revival, but dismissed the idea of his own show following suit.
Appearing on 'The Drew Barrymore Show' this week, he said: "Reboots are a tricky thing, you know?
"The original shows when they become successful sit in this little golden plate of nostalgia and when you modernise it and go back to it, it has the potential to really disenfranchise the original fanbase so it's a very, very touchy thing...
"I'm asked all the time if Dylan and I are going to do a 'Suite Life' reboot, and I go, 'No, absolutely not.' "
Rather than focusing on the past, Cole is looking ahead to future projects after exploring photography professional while studying archaeology.
He explained: "I studied a couple of photography classes when I was in college, and I knew I was going to be traveling a lot for archaeology, so I started taking my camera around with me."
He then decided to turn the hobby into a job, as he approached Conde Nast's Traveler magazine with the goal of getting his photos printed.
He added: "I said 'I'll work for free...' And I didn't get paid the first couple times, as is the classic tale of the unpaid intern in New York.
"I didn't get paid for the first year, and then I got a nice job."
Meanwhile, Selena Gomez - who kissed Dylan in a 2006 episode of 'THe Suite Life of Zack and Cody' - previously revealed she had a childhood crush on Cole.
In a #ThrowbackThursday post she shared a video of her old wall, which had "Selena + Cole Sprouse forever" and "Selena + Juan" scribbled on it.
She captioned the Instagram clip: "Apparently my heart was very conflicted between Juan and Cole Sprouse when I was 11.. (sic)"
Cole, 27, responded in the comments and joked about Juan always beating him.
He wrote: "always Juan-upping me. (sic)"
