The 'Hymn for the Weekend' hitmakers are urging their supporters to take a short video "showing the band their world" for their song 'Amazing Day' on Saturday November 19.

A post on their official website reads: "Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, please take a moment on Saturday to make a short video showing us your world. The video should be around 20 seconds long and filmed in portrait aspect. Please don't use filters on your video. Your video is welcome to have sound, but it would also be good if your clip still makes sense if watched without audio or dialogue.

"Your amazing day might be as simple as being with your best friends or the view from your bedroom window. Or, do you have a unique talent or a special moment you'd like to show the world? Use your imagination ... Once you've made your video, upload it to your Instagram account, using the hashtag #ColdplayAmazingDay, and tagging your location. After you've done that, please submit the link to your Instagram video using the form at amazingday.coldplay.com."

Saturday (19.11.16) also marks Coldplay's first performance in India. They will take to the stage at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai and Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans is excited about the group's performance and how it will help raise awareness of global issues.

He said previously: "It's about individuals taking action. All the research data tells us that only 18 percent of the total population has done something about global issues. It is not that people do not want to act; it's just that they don't know how to go about it. So, what we focus on how to get people to do that.

"We said we are not going to come to India to just do a concert. This is about a 15-year commitment and I believe that in the next 15 years we are going to make extraordinary impact together."
