Clint Eastwood says we are living in the "p***y generation".
The 86-year-old actor is not impressed with the youngsters of today and thinks they could learn a lot from US presidential hopeful Donald Trump by not "walking on eggshells" and caring about political correctness.
He explained: "[Donald Trump's] onto something.
"Because secretly everybody's getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That's the kiss-ass generation we're in right now. We're really in a p***y generation.
"Everybody's walking on eggshells. We see people accusing people of being racist and all kinds of stuff. When I grew up, those things weren't called racist."
The 'Million Dollar Baby' actor has described the term "p***y generation" as people who have a "can't do" attitude and he thinks it's just how things are nowadays.
He says it's all people who say "Oh, you can't do that, and you can't do this, and you can't say that ... I guess it's just the times."
And while the Hollywood legend - who registered as a Republican in 1952 to vote for Dwight D. Eisenhower - hasn't decided who he is voting for in the US election, however, he strongly favours Trump.
In the new issue of Esquire magazine, he said: "So have all of them. Both sides. But everybody -- the press and everybody's going, 'Oh, well, that's racist,' and they're making a big hoodoo out of it. Just f***ing get over it. It's a sad time in history."
Meanwhile, his 30-year-old son Scott recently said that his dad is "old school".
He said: "It's an interesting time. My father's definitely old-school. And he raised me with integrity - to be places on time, show up, and work hard. I lived with my mom in Hawaii until I p****d her off. And then I came to live with my dad and p****d him off ...
"She [his mother] was definitely a little more understanding. You get the law laid down, you know. I look at it like weapons in my war chest now. He made me hustle, and claw, and fight. That's all stuff you want. You want that drive."
