Christina Milian finds being a working mother "hard."

The 34-year-old singer - who has five-year-old daughter Violet with ex-husband The-Dream - admits she can't always be around for the little girl as much as she would like to be and is thankful her child is so understanding.
She said: "It can be hard. You want to be there every single moment for your kid, but it's difficult. Violet understands that Mummy has a job that she has to work extra hard on and she also gets to come visit me when I'm working.
"I have ways of balancing work and pleasure at the same time."
And despite only being five years old, little Violet is already showing signs of following in her parents' musical footsteps.
Christina explained to Star magazine: "She's naturally got a really nice, raspy, pretty voice that reminds me of her dad."
The 'From AM to PM' hitmaker is currently focusing on her music career and was thrilled to work with Snoop Dogg recently.
She told Star magazine: "I just finished my fourth music video and I'm putting out an EP at the beginning of December.
"It's similar to my old stuff but with a modern twist.
"My first single is called 'Like Me' and features Snoop Dogg. It's pretty freaking awesome to have him on a record. He's such a big star!"
