Christina Aguilera thanks fans for their "loyalty and support".
The 37-year-old singer released her seventh studio album 'Liberation' on Friday (15.06.18), and in an emotional video on social media, she thanked her fans for sticking by her side in the "cutthroat" music industry, as she's glad she has loyal supporters who will always stick with her.
She said in the video: "This business is so cutthroat and it's so hard. I feel like I'm gonna cry. When I feel protected, I'm at my best and I just adore the people that are truly loyal to me. And I just love you guys so much.
"I just really adore your loyalty and the support that you give me. Because I'm not gonna stop and I'm gonna keep the momentum going. And I'm so happy. I had a great week. This is what I was born to do."
Her thankful comments come after she previously expressed how proud she was with the new material she has released.
She said: "These songs so make sense and are so relevant now. I was doing it back then and I'm glad that I stuck to my guns. I really, truly just came out with things that I believed in, even if it was against the grain, and even if people were like, 'Really, you shouldn't be saying that. It's going to start up too much controversy.'"
Although the 'Genie In A Bottle' hitmaker may have a legion of loyal supporters, she recently joked that she doesn't have a fan in her three-year-old Summer - who she has with partner Rutler - as the tot doesn't like it when her mother's vocals stop her from enjoying her favourite TV shows.
Christina - who also has 10-year-old Max with ex-husband Jordan Bratman - said: "When I'm doing my vocal warm-ups, she slams the door and goes, 'You're interrupting Peppa Pig!' It's hilarious."
