Chrissy Teigen's mother has been granted US citizenship.
The 'Lip Sync Battle' star is overjoyed her mom Vilailuck Teigen - who was born and raised in Thailand - has now been granted certain rights after living in America for some time.
Chrissy shared a video on Twitter of Vilailuck reciting the Pledge of Allegiance while carrying her two-year-old granddaughter Luna, who was waving an American flag.
Chrissy captioned the post: "YES MOM!! Congrats (sic)"
And the brunette beauty's husband John Legend - with whom she also has son Miles, five months - retweeted the video and revealed his mother-in-law had passed her tests with flying colours.
He wrote: ".@Pepperthai2 became a US citizen today! 100% on her test! (sic)"
Vilailuck lives with Chrissy, John and their children in their Beverly Hills home, while her husband Ron lives nearby.
But the couple's famous daughter has previously insisted that separate houses doesn't stop her parents from having a "good family life" together.
Speaking earlier this year, she explained: "So my mom lives with us, but everybody is like, 'Where's your dad?'
"He comes by every day and they're married.
"It just works for them. It's a good family life. We're all very close, very tight-knit."
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old model recently admitted she and John, 39, often argue, just like any other couple - and she gets most frustrated by the fact the 'All of Me' singer always knows how to calm their rows.
She said: "People see John as this perfect entity and all I want to do is be like, 'Yeah, but he does this!'
"But he really is that fantastic, and amazing, and amazing for me because I'm a fireball. Like, I'm crazy and he knows how to deal with me when we fight.
"And he knows just the right thing to say to diffuse it. And I think that is the problem, it's that it's so frustrating because sometimes you just want to fight and sometimes you just want to yell at somebody and he's never that person."
