Chris Rock's divorce has been finalised.
The 51-year-old comic separated from spouse Malaak in 2014 after 18 years of marriage, and their union was officially dissolved in a New Jersey court on Monday (22.08.16), TMZ reports.
The case is sealed, so details of any settlement have not been revealed.
Chris and Malaak had two children together, Lola, 14, and Zahra, 10, and have also cared for a South African girl named Ntombi, now eight, since she was six months old.
However, they never adopted the youngster - who is the daughter of poor street peddlers - and Chris is said to have maintained she is not his daughter.
Though he has had regular contact with Lola and Zahra since splitting from their mother, he has not seen Ntombi and it is unclear if he is paying any child support for her.
The 'Empire' star previously admitted being a father was a responsibility he relished.
He said: "When I hear people talk about juggling, or the sacrifices they make for their children, I look at them like they're crazy.
"Because 'sacrifice' infers that there was something better to do than being with your children. And I've never been with my kids and gone, 'Man, I wish I was on my stage right now.'"
Chris confessed he often wishes he could spend more time with his children.
He said: "I've never been with my kids and gone, 'Man, it'd be so great if I was on a movie set right now.' But I've been doing a movie and wished that I was with my kids."
