Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow
Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are still planning to spend their wedding anniversary together this December, despite splitting up earlier this year.
Martin and Paltrow called time on their year marriage back in March, but the couple have remained close as they take care of their kids Apple, 10 and eight year old Moses.
The couple would have celebrated their anniversary on 5th December, and they will spend the day together to keep things as normal as possible for their two children.
A source told Grazia magazine: "Chris has said he and Gwyneth want to make things as normal as possible for the children.
"They always do something to mark their anniversary. They also intend to spend at least part of Thanksgiving together and Christmas Day."
Martin has been in a relationship with actress Jennifer Lawrence since his split with Paltrow- a relationship that has been very recently rekindled. However, it could be back on the rocks again as Lawrence is believed to be unhappy about this arrangement.
It is believed that Lawrence has told Martin that he has to show her that his marriage to Gwyneth is really over if they have any sort of future together.
The source continued: "Jennifer understands that Chris needs to spend time with the kids and that he's got to be in contact with Gwyneth.
"But she's told him that if he's serious about making things work between them, he needs to file for divorce before the end of the year and show that he's ready to move on."
Martin recently showed his support for Lawrence by attending the world premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 in London. While he was there to support the actress, Martin did not walk the red carpet at the event.
