Chris Hemworth never felt at "home" in Los Angeles.
The 'Thor' actor is delighted to have moved back to his native Australia with wife Elsa Pataky and their children India, three, and Tristan, Sasha, 22 months, because he feels he is right where he belongs.
Speaking on Australian TV show 'Today', he said: "LA, I loved it, it was great being there with the opportunities with work, [but] it didn't feel like home.
"Instantly, when I get off the plane, I'm back."
And the 32-year-old star was particularly keen for his kids to live on the coast, just like he did as a youngster.
He added: "Which is I think is essential to what we want to give [the children]."
Meanwhile, the hunky actor admitted he was "scared out of his mind" when he started working on the female-driven 'Ghostbusters' remake because it was so different to anything he'd done before, particularly with Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy being so good at improvising.
He said of the comedy: "It was new, but scary.
"Walked on set the first day, I was scared out of my mind."
