Chris Evans has revealed that he is ready to settle down but admits that he wouldn’t want to raise his children in Los Angeles.
Evans - who has dated the likes of Mika Kelly and Jessica Biel over the years - says that his twenties was a time of ‘self exploration and self indulgence’ but now he would love to get married and start a family with the right person.
However, Evans has no plans to bring his kids up in the spotlight and would plan to move away from Los Angeles to raise a family.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine, the actor: "Absolutely. My twenties was a time for self-exploration and a little self-indulgence. Now I'm ready to take the next step.
"I live in Los Angeles and there are a lot of actresses there. But hopefully whoever I end up with won't want to live there forever. I want to move to Boston, where I grew up. I don't want my kids to be the children of wildly famous people."
Evans has been reportedly single since he split with Kelly towards the end of 2013; however, he has been linked with Sandra Bullock a few times this year.
2014 has been a very successful year for Evans after he returned to the role of Captain America in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which was the second solo film for this Marvel character.
The movie was a critical and commercial smash at the beginning of the summer and is still one of the highest grossing movies of the year so far. Evans is set to return to the role of Steve Rodgers next year, with Avengers: Age of Ultron. A third Captain America solo film is also in the pipeline.
Evans also made his directorial debut this year with Before We Go, a movie that he starred in with Alice Eve as well as directed. The movie had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it was picked up by RADiUS.
