Chris Brown has vowed to be "a man and a leader" during his community service.
The 'Look At Me Now' hitmaker was sentenced to 1,000 extra hours earlier this month for submitting bogus reports for the 1,440 hours of service he was originally ordered to complete for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
He wrote: "I'm truly happy to have fans and life. Even wit the bs. Can't make a leader ... They have to be chosen by the people ... The community service isn't a problem anymore.
"Ill do what ever duty I need too to fulfill my requirements as a man and a leader. (sic)"
The R&B star seems to have backtracked after he posted a foul-mouthed rant on his Twitter account last week in which he branded the District Attorney in his court case a "racist".
He said: "N***a done 6 months community service wit police and the DA racist ass crying to the judge that I didn't do it. F**k the SYSTEM! (sic)"
He also slated the American legal system for focusing on his own court case so much instead solving more pressing matters.
He added: "How about y'all take care of all the homeless kids and families on skid row. Promote helping people that are really f***ed up in your city!"
