Cheryl Tweedy's favourite time of the year is Christmas.
The Girls Aloud singer has opened up about her quiet Christmas plans as she praised her former partner Liam Payne's great cooking skills as she shared her plans for the upcoming festive season.
Speaking on Table Manners with Jessie Ware, she said: "It'll probably just be me, my mum and Liam. My mam makes a great roast, and Liam normally does the meat on Christmas. He's really good at it actually and puts his all into it. We watch 'Home Alone' the movie. Both. I always play them back to back. I love it. I think it's because it reminds me of when I was a kid. I love mulled wine. I like everybody to wear the same PJs on Christmas eve night … This year we're going to have Disney ones."
It is not known whether Cheryl has changed her plans amid the new Tier 4 coronavirus restrictions.
Meanwhile, ] former partner Liam opened up about his excitement at spending Christmas with Bear.
He said: "I'm such a Scrooge. Christmas for me is just for my son - that's all I've got. I'm just hoping to spend some time with Bear, really. Obviously with everything up in the air at the moment it's difficult to plan anything. I know everyone's experiencing it."
And Liam is planning to cook Christmas dinner this year.
He said: "I cook. I'll tell you why - because if you're behind the stove, with all the family drama involved in front of you, you don't have to be part of it. You just watch. The only thing I'm dealing with is the turkey behind me and the carrots in front."
