Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is "desperate" to divorce estranged husband Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.

The 'Only Human' singer's friends say she wants to dissolve her marriage as "quickly as possible" whilst also insisting Cheryl, who is now dating One Direction's Liam Payne, had broken up with Jean-Bernard two months before she started dating the pop star in October.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There was absolutely no overlap with Cheryl and Liam.
"Cheryl and JB broke up in August and that's when he moved out. They both agreed to go to Ant and Dec's party as friends so that they could bat away the attention. Cheryl is the one that wanted a divorce and she is desperate for it to go ahead.
The insider added that Cheryl wants to change her surname back to either Tweedy or Cole.
A source said: "There are reasons for that which will come out in due course. She wants a divorce as quickly as possible so she can change her name and move on."
It comes as Jean-Bernard hit out at claims the former Girls Aloud star denied cheating on him.
In a post on his Instagram account, he wrote: "Since months, papers, 'sources', lawyers, PR, management team an others have been trying to intimating me.
"I have heard so many lies about me, my family, (that [I] can't answer anymore), and my situation... I [have] never seen anybody standing up and defend me by telling the truth. I guess because it wasn't in their interest...
"And now suddenly when the truth comes out from NOWHERE because the truth always comes out, certain people that love to say that they don't comment on their private life can't help themselves but to justify themselves which for me seems even more strange...(sic)"
