Cheryl Cole and Tre Holloway are still "good friends".

The 'Call My Name' hitmaker ended her 14-month relationship with the back-up dancer earlier this month, but the singer's close pal and former Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh says they are still on good terms.

She said: "She's really good. They're still really good friends."

The 30-year-old beauty has remained tight-lipped about her split from Tre, 28, but Kimberley supports her friend's decision to remain friends with him.

She explained: "I think it's really personal and that it's the best thing you can do in that situation.

"Everyone deserves the right to deal with things that are going on in their personal lives without everyone else's opinion on it. Then, by the time she decides to tell the world, it's on her terms for a change. It's like, 'I've already dealt with it. We're good and it's up to you to feel how you want to feel.' "

Meanwhile, Tre was reported to have been dancing with a 24-year-old Cheryl look-a-like, Katherine Griffiths, in Sydney, Australia, less than a week after their split was announced earlier this month.

A source said: "Several people gathered at Kat's place in Sydney for pre-drinks. Tre was there and Kat was sitting close to him and he had his arm round her. They were obviously close."
