Chelsea Handler is now willing to get married.
The 40-year-old talk show host - who is currently single - admits she has changed her stance after realising she wouldn't necessarily have to have a huge wedding.
She said: "I never understood why people would want to get married. To me, marriage always encompassed a huge wedding and a huge reception and a commitment lumped together.
"But I realise now that you can be committed to someone without that commercialisation and all that nonsense. So now I'd get married."
She then jokingly added: "Now that I'm single and have no viable options."
However, while she is open to marriage, Chelsea - who briefly dated 50 Cent after splitting from NBC Broadcasting Chairman Ted Harbert in 2010 after almost four years together - doesn't want to have children because she thinks she'd be a "nightmare" parent.
She told People magazine: "I'd have to over-correct so much from my parents that I would be a nightmare mother.
"If my niece has a bad day at school, I worry about it for three days. I'd be such a helicopter parent. I'd drive my child crazy!"
Chelsea quit her popular E! show 'Chelsea Lately' in 2014 and made the decision because she felt it was time to "grow up".
She said: "I was smarter than my show and that didn't feel interesting to me anymore. I thought, 'I want to be proud of myself as a person.' I needed to grow up."
