The 'Geordie Shore' star has admitted she was shocked to hear her co-star and former flame had split from his girlfriend last week after just over a year.
Writing in her column for new! magazine, she said: "Gaz and Lillie's break-up came as a bit of a shock. From what I knew, they were really in love and never argued. I thought they would be together for a long time so I feel really sorry for both of them."
The break-up came just after Gaz and Charlotte wrapped filming on the upcoming 12th series of the MTV reality show, and the 27-year-old hunk has since been pictured holding hands with a mystery blonde in Australia.
However, it's Charlotte and Gaz that fans of the show want to see finally get together following the split.
And the pair seem to be getting on better than ever before as they recently arranged to meet up for a coffee when Gaz is back on home soil.
Gaz wrote on Twitter: "coffee and catch up Tuesday haha?? I'll cheer u up (sic)."
Charlotte replied, writing: "always got time for a coffee and catch up with you (sic)."
