Charlize Theron is planning a "low-key" wedding with her fiancé Sean Penn.
The couple reportedly got engaged in November during a romantic trip to Paris, and now want to exchange vows on a private beach later in the year with just their close friends and family present.
Speaking to Life & Style magazine, a source told: "She'd love to get married on the beach in her native South Africa, but Sean loves the idea of Cuba."
Sean is now willing to park his own plans and schedule for Charlize in order to let her have her dream day.
Life & Style's insider continued: "They want a low-key, classic and romantic wedding. They've also talked about a sunset ceremony in Malibu - black-tie but barefoot."
Before getting engaged, Charlize expressed last June she had no desire to ever become a bride.
At the time she commented: "Let's put it this way: I never had the dream of the white dress. And watching other people getting married? I think it's beautiful for them, but to be quite honest, usually I'm sitting there just devastated.
"It's supposed to be this night of celebrating love, and all you see is a couple separated all night making sure everybody else is OK. It just looks like a lot of work. And as you get older, you start sifting through the stuff that really matters."
