Charlie Sheen has been granted two monitored visits a week to his twin sons Bob and Max, five.

The 'Anger Management' star was told by a judge yesterday (17.12.13) that he will be allowed to see five-year-old Bob and Max - who are currently in the care of their uncle Scott Mueller - for two monitored visits per week, each lasting two hours.

And the judge presiding over the case between Charlie and his ex-wife Brooke Mueller also told the actor he will incrementally get his custody of the boys restored to 50/50 if he continues to co-operate with the courts and the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (CDFS), TMZ reports.

Also during the private hearing, the judge ruled Charlie will not be held in contempt of court after previously violating a gagging order banning him from speaking about Brooke and the case after his former spouse said she did not want to push the issue.

The outspoken actor had lashed out after Brooke's brother was given temporary custody of the boys, meaning they could move back into their mother's home, prompting Charlie to label the judge an "anus brain" and staff at Los Angeles Department of Children & Family Services (DCFS) "lascivious and incompetent."

Before being placed in the care of Scott, Charlie's ex-wife Denise Richards had been looking after the boys but she recently gave up guardianship because she said their violent behaviour was affecting her daughters, adopted Eloise, two, and her two kids with the actor, Sam, nine, and Lola, eight.

Charlie and Denise have enjoyed an amicable relationship until recently, when he accused her of stopping him from seeing the girls over Christmas.
