Charlie Sheen is set to celebrate Christmas with his sons, Bob and Max.
The 'Anger Management' star has been granted permission to spend time with the four-year-old twins in Los Angeles on Wednesday (25.12.13) by their temporarily legal guardian, Scott Mueller, who is the 48-year-old actor's ex-wife Brooke Mueller's brother.
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that Scott has no interest in punishing the young boys over the holidays and came to an arrangement with Charlie.
The insider said that the actor is delighted he will have the boys as he won't get to see his daughters, Sam, nine, and Lola, eight, because they are jetting off on holiday with their mother, Denise Richards.
It was previously reported that Charlie is planning to cut the 'Wild Things' actress's child support payments and take her to court to establish official visitation rights on specific holidays, as he is so annoyed with Denise for taking their daughters out of town without him.
Denise had been caring for Bob and Max since they were removed from Brooke's custody in May after she was hospitalised and forced to seek treatment in rehab for drug abuse, but she made the "difficult decision" to give up caring for them because of their "violent behaviour" towards her daughters in early November.
Brooke is still battling to regain custody of the boys but believes the Los Angeles Department Of Children and Family Services (LADCFS) are "out to get her" after "mystery evidence," which allegedly suggests she lied about her drug treatment, led officials to put the case on ice last week.
