Liam Payne once tried to break into Charlie Puth’s house as part of an elaborate prank.

The 27-year-old singer is a known prankster, and his pal and fellow singer Charlie has revealed the One Direction star once took his jokes to the next level, when he climbed on top of the roof of Charlie’s house in an attempt to break in and give Charlie the fright of his life.
Charlie explained: “Fun fact, Liam jumped on my roof one time at my old house in Hollywood Hills. And I was like, ‘Where are you?’ ‘I’m on your roof mate’.”
And that’s not the only time the ‘See You Again’ singer has fallen victim to Liam’s antics, as the ‘Strip That Down’ hitmaker also once stole one of Charlie’s hoodies after he wore it to a nightclub in order to be “a bit incognito”.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column, 28-year-old Charlie added: “He stole my hoodie because he was going to the club one night and said, ‘Do you want to go?’.
“I’m like, ‘Not really’, and he was like, ‘Do you mind if I borrow a hoodie?’.
“To be a bit incognito, I guess. It’s a really nice hoodie, it’s cashmere and I just never got it back.
“I think he probably lost it.”
Meanwhile, Liam was recently reported to have calmed down his partying ways for the sake of his three-year-old son Bear.
An insider said: "Liam was taking things a bit far with partying. He was given warnings, heeded them and is now in a good place.
"The most worrying thing for him was he was told to consider whether he’d be around for Bear if he carried on the way he was going. It was a tough warning, probably exaggerated, but it jolted him into action as he’s a devoted dad."
