David Beckham underwent a total transformation for his role in 'King Arthur: Legend of the Sword' sitting in the makeup chair to get a huge facial scar and rotten teeth.
The handsome retired soccer superstar has a cameo in Guy Ritchie's upcoming fantasy action film and he took to Instagram on Tuesday (28.03.17) to show his gruesome appearance to his 34.5 million followers.
David - who is married to Spice Girl Victoria Beckham - looked almost unrecognisable with his gruesome prosthetics and realistic makeup on.
He captioned the snap: "Rough day at the office @kingarthurmovie @guyritchie (sic)"
David is listed as playing "disgruntled knight" Blackleg Leader in the movie - which is set to hit cinemas in May - but other than that the details of his role are unknown although it has been speculated that the former Manchester United player's character will be present when the Excalibur sword gets drawn from the stone in keeping with the legend.
David, 38, got cast as he is good friends with director Guy, 48, and he will appear in 'King Arthur' along with Charlie Hunnam as the titular hero and a stellar cast which includes Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou, Eric Bana and Annabelle Wallis and it seems he was a hit with his co-stars.
Charlie, 36, previously said: "Beckham was awesome. I mean, I genuinely love that guy. I loved working with him. He was great."
