Charli XCX avoids reading about herself online.
The 'Boom Clap' hitmaker refuses to search the Internet to see what people have to say about her but says she has improved since her younger years when she used to take everything "really, really personally".
She told Teen Vogue magazine: "It used to stress me out when I was younger, because I would take everything really, really personally. But, to be honest, I don't read it too much anymore. No, it doesn't really bother me.
"My assistant sends me screen grabs of, like, really funny Daily Mail clips when they write about me, and there's always hideous and hilarious comments."
And the 22-year-old singer certainly won't take any criticism lying down as she previously revealed she doesn't care if people think she's a bitch for speaking her mind.
She shared: "I find that sometimes the men who I work with will be totally patronising because they think I'm just a vessel for a song to come out of. And that's not something that I operate, or how I would treat anyone. To be honest I always fight back because I don't deserve to be treated like that - I'm just as much as a boss as they are.
"And I don't care if people call me a bitch because it's not about being a bitch it's just about controlling your own s**t and being a business woman. I don't care if people call me a bitch because I know what I'm doing is the right thing."
