Channing Tatum told his wife Jenna Dewan about his past as a stripper on one of their "very first" dates.
The 37-year-old actor previously worked as a male stripper before he got his acting break in the early 2000s, and has now revealed he made no secret of his past when it came to romancing his wife Jenna, whom he married in 2009 and with whom he has four-year-old daughter Everly.
He said: "I think it was one of the very first like dinners we ever had together. I don't know. I'm not shy about it. She was just like, 'What?' She needed to know just like everybody."
Jenna, 36, wasn't bothered by the revelation, and the 'Magic Mike' star admitted it has been his male friends who have asked the most questions.
He added to 'Entertainment Tonight': "Weirdly enough, girls ask less questions then guys do. Guys want to know everything about it like what how much? When? Were you naked?"
Channing's comments come just days after he admitted his father had been unaware of his brief foray into exotic dancing, and only discovered the news after the star's first appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' in 2010.
Speaking to Ellen recently, he said: "That was my very first time on your show and I got to let you know that that was the very first time that my dad actually found out that I was a stripper for a short time."
To which Ellen replied: "Wait, your dad didn't know you were stripper until that day? How did he take it?"
And Channing said: "Not well, really really not well."
Previously, the Hollywood star insisted he has no desire to return to the stage.
Speaking last year, Channing said: "I don't miss anything about stripping. I stripped in Tampa for like 25 girls, at best. It wasn't glamorous whatsoever, so there's nothing that I miss about stripping."
