The 'Focus' singer has showed off a number of her impersonations of other female stars recently, and the 'Think Twice' hitmaker was particularly taken with her send-up of her.
Asked if anyone is insulted by her impressions, Ariana said: "No, no, no! When I met Celine she told me, she was like, 'When I saw you, I peed!' "
Ariana - who impersonated Britney Spears, Shakira, Rihanna and Whitney Houston on 'Saturday Night Live' last weekend - insisted all her impressions "come from a place of love".
Speaking on 'Elvis Duran and The Morning Show' on iHeartRadio, she said: "No I'm just a big fan! I'm a really big fan.
"I think that's why they don't get mad because they know that I come from a place of love and I'm just like, 'You're f***ing amazing!' "
The 22-year-old singer had "the best time" on 'SNL', on which she served as both guest host and musical guest.
She said: "I had the most fun in my whole entire life... It was really fun.
"It was one of the most exhausting and overwhelming weeks of my life, but every single moment was so much fun and I had the best time!"
