Caroline Flack says she and Olly Murs are "not totally platonic".
The close pals co-present 'The X Factor' together and Caroline admitted their relationship is hard to define.
She said: "It's a weird chemistry. We have this innate understanding of one another - we don't fancy each other and yet we don't not fancy each other. We're not girlfriend and boyfriend, yet we're not totally platonic either."
Caroline - who previously dated One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles - also called her 'Strictly Come Dancing' partner Pasha Kovalev her "therapist" for helping her through a messy split with music producer boyfriend Jack Street while she was taking part in the show.
She told YOU Magazine: "During that last week I was breaking down in tears every two seconds. Pasha didn't know what to say. When I started crying I would slump on the floor and he'd just come and sit next to me and rub my shoulder. When we came to the final dance everyone wanted us to do something really fast and energetic and Pasha said, 'No, we're going to do something slow and emotional, you are not in the right frame of mind to do anything else. He is the greatest therapist of all time."
Despite previous heartbreak, Caroline is hopeful that she will settle down someday and not become "a crazy cat lady".
She said: "It can't be me and my cat forever can it? The other day, instead of saying, 'This is something to show my grandkids', I said, 'grandcats'. It just came out. Maybe I am destined to become a crazy cat lady, but I hope not."
