The 'Love Island' host was invited to the 38-year-old sports presenter and her husband Owain Walbyoff's nuptials in Portugal in 2012 but was forced to miss the main event because she was working on 'The X Factor' spin-off show 'The Xtra Factor' at the time.
However, the 37-year-old beauty booked a flight to the southern European country later that day so that she could make the evening do but unfortunately she crashed out on her hotel room's bed after she landed and missed the whole thing.
Speaking on 'Loose Women' on Tuesday (13.06.17), she said: "I went abroad to a wedding once and my friend Natalie Pinkham - she's going to hate me for this - I was doing 'The X Factor', so I was working over and over and over, and I didn't actually make the wedding, but I'd got my flights so I could make the party just after. I got to Portugal, put my bags down in my hotel room, thought I'd just close my eyes for two seconds ... and I slept through it. I got up about 2.30, three in the morning, went downstairs to see if it was still going and there were the stragglers. I hung out with them for a while. I just extended my trip and hung out on their honeymoon!"
Although Caroline didn't manage to watch her friend tie the knot, Georgie Thompson, Kirsty Gallacher and Zara Phillips were there to see her walk down the aisle.
