Caroline Flack loves working with her "best friend" Olly Murs.
The 'X Factor' presenting duo are speculated to be romantically involved, but the 36-year-old beauty has insisted their relationship is purely platonic and their on-screen chemistry is simply a reflection of how much they enjoy working with each other.
Speaking at the ITV Gala at the London Palladium last night (19.11.15), Caroline told BANG Showbiz: "I'm working with my best friend so we are constantly laughing."
Caroline also defended Olly following his recent on-screen gaffe in which he prematurely announced the departure of contestant Monica Michael.
Caroline said: "I just think the online critics are a tough crowd, aren't they? I make loads of mistakes but you cover them up and you move on.
"We might mention it this weekend as a joke. I might be sending it to deadlock instead of him if it does.
"He'll be fine just don't do it again Olly. I'm like,'It's fine just don't do it again'."
The TV host also revealed 'X Factor' supremo Simon Cowell was philosophical about the slip up.
She said: "He was really lovely. He's a good boss. He's not the kind of guy who's like 'You shouldn't have done that!'
"He's just like, 'You live and learn. It's what happens.'"
