The Libertines' Carl Barat can't bring himself to watch last year's documentary about his late friend Amy Winehouse.

The 37-year-old frontman, who had a strong bond with the 'Rehab' hitmaker up until her death in 2011, has admitted he hasn't been able to watch the movie 'Amy', which includes archival footage and personal testimonials about the fallen star, because he's still distraught about her tragic passing.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, he said on behalf of his bandmates: "I've taped the 'Amy' documentary. We were all friends with Amy, it's obviously f***ing devastating and hard for us all to get over so I've not really been able to watch it yet.
"A lot of people have been affected by it as it brings back memories of the time and it's quite a personal thing."
Amy tragically passed away at the age of just 27 almost five years ago from accidental alcohol poisoning and, since then, her parents Mitch and Janis have gone on to pen memoirs.
However, the most hard-fitting tribute came after it was announced Asif Kapadia and James Gay-Rees were creating a documentary about her life and death.
Although difficult to watch, the film - which debuted at Cannes Film Festival last year - recently won a BAFTA for Best Documentary, as well as a Grammy for Best Music Film.
However, Mitch has been very critical of the documentary, suggesting it sensationalised her life and portrayed her family in a deceptive light.
