Cara Delevingne is not passionate about modelling.
The 22-year-old beauty is among the most sought-after faces in the fashion industry, having fronted campaigns for several high-profile brands, but has revealed she's always been more enthusiastic about acting.
The London-born star said: "I've always wanted to be an actress, more than anything in the world."
Despite her enviable catwalk career, Cara confessed the job of a model fails to ignite her "fire".
She told PEOPLE magazine: "Modeling was never a passion of mine. It wasn't something that made my heart beat and built a fire inside of me."
Cara's remarks come shortly after best-selling author John Green - who penned 'Paper Towns', which has been transformed into a film featuring the Brit - described her as "an amazing actress".
The writer said Cara's performance in the much-anticipated new movie will change the public's perception of her.
He said: "Cara is an amazing actress.
"Legitimately. All of the constructions we have of supermodels are deconstructed by Cara in the course of the film."
As well as 'Paper Towns', Cara is also expected to make a cameo appearance in 'Zoolander 2', the Justin Theroux-directed sequel to the 2001 comedy film starring Ben Stiller as dimwitted male model Derek Zoolander.
