Camila Alves promised herself she wouldn't get "pregnant" again until her frozen baby food business was up and running.
The 34-year-old model has three children, son Levi, seven, daughter Vida, six, and son Livingston, three, with her husband Matthew McConaughey, and recently launched infant meals brand Yummy Spoonfuls exclusively in Target stores in the US with her business partner Agatha Achindu.
Although the nutritious products are inspired by her kids and how she weaned them, Camila admits motherhood got in the way of her totally committing to the business so she made a vow after Livingston was born to stop expanding her brood and get serious about Yummy Spoonfuls.
Speaking to E! News about her business, she said: "The journey for me started every time I had a baby I was like, 'I have to do this as a business. This is like you know ... we have to do this.' And then I'd get pregnant again and forget about it. Then on my third one I said, 'I'm not getting pregnant again. I'm doing this as a business.' "
At present, Camila is working without an office as her and 46-year-old Matthew's home is being renovated so she's sharing an arts and crafts space with her kids to do her work.
The Brazilian beauty said: "We're doing construction in the house, so I don't have an office now. I don't have a working space, so I'm really in the middle of the kitchen and all of it. We're laughing, because we're doing an arts and crafts project and I'm in the middle of all of it. We had my cat on top of it, by dog was on the other side, my daughter was jumping in on other things helping out."
Levi has shown a big interest in his mother's business and has been helping her create new recipes for the range.
Camila shared: "My oldest son is all about cooking, so he's coming up with different recipes that he can serve that night."
