Calvin Harris and his girlfriend have split, after the superstar DJ is reported to have called time on his relationship with her because of his busy schedule, bringing their seven month partnership to a close.

A source explained: "Calvin and Aarika split around the time of the BRITs last month. They were both into each other for a long time but it just didn't work out and they'll stay friends. Calvin is always really busy and is constantly travelling around to DJ gigs so he's happy to be single for a while."
The pair appeared to be smitten with one another when they attended a Grammy Awards afterparty together last month, following their first meeting last August when she was on the set of Calvin's music video for 'Blame'.
However, just weeks later saw Calvin attend the BRITs on his own and he was later reported to have been flirting with American singer Taylor Swift, who watched him play at his Las Vegas residency at Hakkasan nightclub over the weekend.
Nevertheless, Calvin seems to be more interested in keeping a professional relationship with Taylor, previously admitting he'd love to make new music with her as she's "an amazing songwriter".
