Caitlyn Jenner and Kanye West "have never really been close."

The 65-year-old reality TV star, whose stepdaughter Kim Kardashian West is married to the rapper, admits she has only developed a bond with the 'New Slaves' hitmaker since transitioning into a woman in May.
In a clip from the upcoming premiere episode of her new E! series, 'I Am Cait,' which will air on Sunday (26.07.15), the former Olympian says: "Kanye and I have never really been very close but I love his open mindedness and I love how he has helped Kim come to grips with what's going on."
The sneak peak footage also shows Kim, 34, and Kanye, 38, going over to Caitlyn's house to meet her for the first time.
Kanye greets her with a giant smile on his face and simply says, "What up?"
But he later praises Caitlyn, who was known as Bruce Jenner before her transition, for being so courageous, adding: "I think this is one of the strongest things that have happened in our existence as human beings, that are so controlled by perception. You couldn't have been up against more."
Meanwhile, Kim thinks Caitlyn's new look make her look more like her younger half-sister Kendall Jenner, 19.
She says: "You look beautiful! You know, the one thing I'm really shocked about is how skinny you are. You literally look like Kendall. Like Kendall's mom."
