Busy Philipps never watched 'Dawson's Creek'.
The 39-year-old actress starred as Audrey Liddell in the US teen drama series, alongside her close friend Michelle Williams, 37, but she has confessed she is more of a fan of her other shows 'Freaks And Geeks' and 'Cougar Town'.
She told Porter Edit magazine: "'Freaks And Geeks', I think, is ultimately the classic. And then probably 'Cougar Town'.
"I never watched 'Dawson's Creek'. I didn't watch it before I was on the show and I barely watched it after I was on the show, so I don't have the same connection that other people have to it."
The programme hasn't been on screens since 2003, and Busy has dashed hopes of a revival anytime soon.
The 'I Feel Pretty' star - who also starred alongside Katie Holmes and James Van Der Beek - revealed how she was buying groceries one day and the checkout clerk wouldn't hand over her change until she gave her a straight answer about a reunion.
Busy - who has nine-year-old Birdie and five-year-old Cricket with her husband Marc Silverstein - told the publication: "I said 'OK, yeah sure. It's not going to happen, but, yeah, go on then.'"
Busy and Michelle - who kick-started her career on the show at the age of 17 - first met on 'Dawson's Creek' and they got on so well that they would cheekily ask to have more screen time together.
Speaking about her bond with the 'Blue Valentine' star - who played Jen Lidley - she said: "It's so interesting that (our) friendship became basically mythological after that show.
"We had very few scenes together; Jen and Audrey were unlikely friends. But in the last season, sometimes they would give us scenes together, just to make us happy."
Busy joined when she was 22 in 2001 until 2003.
