Bryan Singer "vehemently denies" sexually assaulting a 17 year old in 2003.
The 52-year-old filmmaker is being sued for allegedly forcing Cesar Sanchez-Guzman to perform oral sex on him during a yacht party in 2003, but he "categorically denies" the claims in the lawsuit.
A rep for the 'X-Men' director said in a statement to PEOPLE: "Bryan categorically denies these allegations and will vehemently defend this lawsuit to the very end. Cesar Sanchez-Guzman apparently claims that he did not remember this alleged incident from 2003 until now.
"Significantly, when Sanchez-Guzman filed for bankruptcy only a few years ago, he failed to disclose this alleged claim when he was supposed to identify all of his assets, but conveniently, now that the bankruptcy court discharged all of his debts, he is able to recall the alleged events."
The documents claim Bryan forced himself on Cesar during the alleged ordeal and that he "pleaded with [Bryan] to stop" throughout.
In the court docs, he is also alleged to have told Cesar he was a "producer in Hollywood and that he could help Cesar get into acting as long as Cesar never said anything about the incident".
The lawsuit adds: "He then told Cesar that no one would believe him if he ever reported the incident, and that he could hire people who are capable of ruining someone's reputation."
Earlier this week, Bryan was fired from directing 'Bohemian Rhapsody', and claimed 20th Century Fox refused to give him time off to look after an unwell parent.
He said in a statement: "I wanted nothing more than to be able to finish this project and help honour the legacy of Freddie Mercury and Queen, but Fox would not permit me to do so because I needed to temporarily put my health, and the health of my loved ones, first.
"'Bohemian Rhapsody' is a passion project of mine. With fewer than three weeks to shoot remaining, I asked Fox for some time off so I could return to the US to deal with pressing health matters concerning one of my parents. This was a very taxing experience, which ultimately took a serious toll on my own health. Unfortunately, the studio was unwilling to accommodate me and terminated my services. This was not my decision and it was beyond my control."
20th Century Fox confirmed Singer had departed the role, but didn't say why.
They said in a statement: "Bryan Singer is no longer the director of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'"
