Bruno Mars has confirmed that he will perform at Super Bowl 50.
The 30-year-old singer posted a picture of himself in Levi's Stadium, San Francisco - where the 2016 Super Bowl will take place on Sunday (07.02.16) and wrote: "It ain't a party if Mr $how Up & $how out doesn't show up #confirmed (sic)."
Bruno previously won widespread acclaim for his half-time performance at the 2014 Super Bowl in New Jersey.
Headliners Coldplay - Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion - have revealed that they aim to "celebrate" past Super Bowl shows in their performance and hope their 12-minute set is as "memorable" as other acts' appearances have been.
Chris explained: "We've watched all of the other halftime shows many times, and most of them are fantastic.
"I think we're going to try to celebrate those other years and hopefully make a show as memorable as some of our favourites. We decided we wanted to make it about togetherness, acceptance and the things we believed in. Then we called the right guests, so we know that we have great people joining us."
Sunday's NFL championship final will be contested by the Carolina Panthers and the Denver Broncos.
