Bruce Jenner feels like "a big weight" has been lifted off his shoulders.

The 65-year-old reality TV star, who confirmed he is transgender last week, is reportedly excited to finally be able to look "like the woman he's always wanted to be" after sharing his story with Diane Sawyer.

A source close to the Olympian, who split from third wife Kris Jenner in 2013 after 22 years of marriage, said: "He's relieved. He feels like a big weight is off his shoulders."

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, who previously had two nose jobs and a face lift, is said to have recently had several more cosmetic surgeries and plans to reveal his complete transformation this summer.

The source also told PEOPLE magazine: "More and more, and certainly in private, Bruce is living as a woman. He seems confident and relaxed. Recently, he's left his house with nail polish and lip gloss. He seems more comfortable in his new life.

"He's so excited about everything female. He loves to dress up, he loves wearing high heels, he loves doing his hair."

Meanwhile, sources close to Kris, 59, continue to insist she was only recently made aware of the changes in Bruce's life.

One friend said: "[She] never knew Bruce wanted to be a woman. She thought Bruce had a little quirk and he asked her to keep it a secret, so she did."

The former couple have two daughters, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17, together, and also four other children each from previous marriages.
