Brooke Vincent wants to land a role in a Hollywood film.
The 'Coronation Street' star, who has starred on the soap since 2004, is desperate to broaden her horizons and try her hand at a "gritty" blockbuster across the pond.
She explained: "I'd give it a go. I'd love to do a gritty role like 'Million Dollar Baby'. That's a great film."
But, for the time being, the brunette beauty has other things on her mind as she's taking a break from the long-running soap, in which she portrays lesbian Sophie Webster, to try her hand at theatre in Manchester's 'My Baby' later this year.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "I had been there for so long. I wanted a new challenge. 'Corrie' is my home and that's nice but it's also nice to do something else for a while. Being on stage is a different way of acting.
"I'm playing a character who is a bit like me - bolshy and loud. It's set in the 1960s so it will be different costumes too. I'm excited. I'm getting a different string to my bow."
And Brooke, 23, isn't the only member of the 'Corrie' cast to expand her wings as her former co-star Ryan Thomas - who played bricklayer Jason Grimshaw - quit the show earlier this year in order to kick-start his career Stateside.
Matthew Marsden, who played mechanic Chris Collins in the late 90s, also turned his back on the programme for Hollywood, while Michelle Keegan - known for playing easy-on-the-eye barmaid Tina McIntyre - is also desperate to nab a gripping role across the pond in the near future.
