Brody Jenner says the Kardashians aren't "technically" part of his family any more.
The 31-year-old reality TV star, whose father Caitlyn Jenner, who was previously known as Bruce Jenner before recently undergoing gender transition, split from Kardashian family matriarch Kris Jenner in late 2013 after 22 years of marriage, claims he and stepsister Kim Kardashian West had "two completely separate lives" when they were growing up and rarely see each another, but insists they "get along just great."
Asked if he sees his famous step-siblings, including Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, Rob Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian on a regular basis, the former 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star said: "No, I don't actually. I don't see them very often. I live out in Malibu, they live in Calabasas [California]. I don't see them... I love them all. We get along just great, contrary to what everyone says."
But Brody admits doesn't know Kim's rapper husband Kanye West, 38, or their two-year-old daughter North, very well and has no plans to buy their unborn son a gift when she gives birth to their second child in December.
He told Yahoo! Style: "That's the one thing that people don't really understand is that we live two completely separate lives. And everybody ties us in together as the Kardashians and the Jenners.
"Now what's interesting is they got a divorce right, so they're not even technically part of my family anymore."
However, he insists he is proud of their younger half-sisters Kendall, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 17.
Asked about Kendall's success as a model, he said: "It's pretty amazing to see what she's accomplished now at such a young age - both of them, Kendall and Kylie. It's fun to watch. [I'm a] proud older brother."
