Britt Ekland's cosmetic surgery has "destroyed" her face.
The 73-year-old actress - who starred as a Bond girl alongside Roger Moore in the 1974 classic 'The Man with the Golden Gun' - has admitted she has "always" felt insecure about her aesthetic but was left feeling even more dissatisfied by her looks when she was forced to undergo cosmetic treatment, which she believes ruined her appearance.
Speaking openly on 'Loose Women' on Thursday (21.07.16) about the beauty procedures, the blonde star said: "'I have always been so insecure and I have never been satisfied with my looks.
"I was under a contract with 20th Century Fox, and as soon I had that contract they filed down my teeth and changed my name. It's just a job, but as an actress you do whatever you're told.
"They did a terrible thing ... what they did was put a lot of stuff in my lips, but I had to live with newspapers printing horrible pictures of me.
"What they didn't understand was the man who did that used me as an experiment, and he destroyed this [her face].
"For a long time I couldn't do TV or films. It's been very traumatic in my life.'
The Swedish singer - who suffered with body dysmorphia when she was younger - has admitted she didn't appreciate her beauty until now.
She explained: "I can see the pictures of myself on the internet, and how gorgeous I was, but at the time I didn't see it."
And Britt has revealed her insecurity stemmed from her childhood days when she was bullied for the size of her features.
She explained: "I was a very little fat girl. I was about 11 or 12 and I was fat till I was 15.
"When I was at school my ears pointed out and my teeth stuck out - I had them filed down in Hollywood - but yes, people used to call me Dumbo!
"But knowing what I know now, I would tell parents do not let your children get fat at 13, because that is such an important stage in a child's life."
