Britney Spears has opened up about her "sh***y day" following her split from David Lucado.
The 32 year old pop star, who is thought to have dumped her boyfriend yesterday after a video emerged of him allegedly cheating on her, alluded to her romantic woes in a new inspirational video posted to her Instagram account.
The 'Piece of Me' hitmaker captioned the short clip: "When you're having a shitty day... "
In the video, she said: "If you ever have a really, really shitty day, find someone with shoes with hearts on them."
After pointing the camera to a pal whose shoes are adorned in red hearts, Britney added: "Made my day!"
The singer confirmed the end of her 18-month relationship on Thursday when she wrote on Twitter: "Ahhhh the single life!"
The split comes as footage is being shopping around of David reportedly dancing with and kissing a mysterious woman.
But it seems her former boyfriend is hoping to patch things up with Britney.
A source said: "David is very, very in love with Britney. This is unfortunate and he hopes that it all works out."
Britney and David first got together in March 2013 just a couple of months after she called off her engagement to Jason Trawick.
