Britney Spears' father Jamie has reportedly requested more money to help with his house allowance, asking a court to approve an further $2,000 to fund the work he does for his daughter.
The 31-year-old singer's dad Jamie was granted a conservatorship order - which gave him control of his daughter's finances - in 2008, and it is said he is asking for an increase in his house allowance.
E! News obtained court documents detailing his requests, in which he claimed his "rent has steadily escalated over the last three years".
Jamie reportedly wants an increase of $800 a month for office expenses, which would bring his total to $2,000.
In addition, he wants a further $2,000 for an office which is apparently "dedicated to Britney's activities" to fund his duties when it comes to looking after his daughter.
As well as the likes of costumes, legal issues, family leg, household staff and security, he also wants money as payment for "numerous medical issues that arose that required my extensive communication."
The blonde beauty's father also claimed he works to "maximise the contractual benefits she would receive with a minimum of financial risk to her and a safe structured and pleasant environment."
A hearing will be held on October 29 to decide whether the request will be approved.
